Matthew F. Delmont is the Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Professor of History and Associate Dean of International and Interdisciplinary Studies at Dartmouth College. He chairs the Department of African and African American Studies. His research focuses on African American history, civil rights, media, and popular culture.
