Matthew E. Wilson is a Professor of Animal Sciences at West Virginia University's College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design. Originally from Indiana, he earned his B.S. in Animal Science from Purdue University in 1994, followed by an M.S. (1996) and Ph.D. (1999) in Physiology of Reproduction with a minor in Genetics from Iowa State University. He joined WVU as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in 2000 and became Assistant Professor in 2002, achieving tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in 2008 and Full Professor in 2013.
