Matthew Colin Augustine is a Senior Lecturer in Later Seventeenth-Century English Literature at the School of English, University of St Andrews. He holds a PhD in English and American Literature from Washington University in St Louis (2010) and previously taught at the University of Oregon's Clark Honors College.
