Matthew Campbell is a Professor of Human Metabolism and Integrative Physiology at the University of Sunderland. He holds honorary titles at leading institutions including the Wellcome-MRC Institute of Metabolic Science (University of Cambridge) and Harvard University's Joslin Diabetes Centre. He chairs the University Research Ethics Committee and co-chairs the International Consortium for Insulin Resistance in Type 1 Diabetes.
