Matthew Borus

Matthew Borus is an Assistant Professor in the CCPA Social Work department at Binghamton University. His research focuses on disability studies, exploring how disabled individuals navigate social welfare systems, workplace dynamics, congregate care settings, and social movements in the contemporary US. He combines academic expertise with practical experience from roles as a social worker, health educator, policy analyst at the Department of Health and Human Services, and grassroots organizer.
