Dr. Matteo Gazzani is an Associate Professor at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Utrecht University, leading the Energy & Resources group. His research focuses on energy systems integration, particularly in advancing clean energy technologies through process synthesis, simulation, and material-science bridging. Key interests include CO₂ capture/storage, decarbonization of industries, and renewable energy infrastructure.
