Matteo Deleidi is a Research Fellow in Macroeconomics at Sapienza University of Rome and Research Associate at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP). He obtained his PhD in Political Economy from Roma Tre University in 2016 under Professor Antonella Stirati's supervision, with research visits to Leeds University Business School.
His research focuses on:
- Macroeconomic effects of monetary/fiscal policies
- Government expenditure impacts on GDP
- Money creation processes
- Innovation policy implications
- Renewable energy investment incentives
He co-leads the 'Money, credit and macroeconomy' research area and is Co-Principal Investigator for 'The macroeconomic implications of innovation policy' - a collaboration between Roma Tre University and IIPP.
