Matt Saunders is a Professor of Art, Film, and Visual Studies and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Saunders' work is grounded in painting, creating porous and provocative relationships with photography, printmaking, and animated film installations. His exhibitions have been shown at the Renaissance Society (Chicago), Tate (Liverpool), Museum of Modern Art (NY), Whitney Museum, and others. He has also written for Artforum and other publications.
