Matt Grey is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Acting at LASALLE College of the Arts. He holds an MA in Arts Pedagogy and Practice from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA (Hons) Theatre from Surrey University, UK. His academic credentials include a Licentiate in Teaching from Guildhall School of Music and Dance (LGSM) and diplomas from Guildford School of Acting and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
His research focuses on integrating acting with voice and speech training, emphasizing authenticity and credibility in performance. He utilizes frameworks like the Estill Voice Model to explore vocal character design and the relationship between thought and annunciation. His work addresses multicultural contexts, enabling students to develop flexible artistic responses.
