Mats Alaküla is a Professor in Industrial Electrical Engineering at Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering (LTH). He leads research in electromobility, energy transition, and sustainable transportation systems. His roles include Scientific Advisor at AB Volvo (14 years) and Elonroad AB, as well as Research Leader in the Swedish Electromobility research centre for 12 years.
Education: Began his career in 1986 as a PhD student in control and design of electrical machines and drives. His expertise spans automotive applications, hybrid/electric vehicles, and energy systems.
