Matilde Carlón Ruiz is a Professor of Administrative Law at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) since 2000 and currently serves as Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations and Activities Programming at the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP). She holds a Law degree from the University of Oviedo (1994, recipient of the Extraordinary Award and End of Degree Award) and a PhD from the same institution (1998).
Her academic career includes roles such as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics at UCM (2003-2006), Secretary General of UCM (2011-2013 and 2015-2019), and Advisor to the Secretary General at UCM (2006-2007).
