Mathilde Reyssat

Mathilde Reyssat is a Lecturer at ESPCI Paris - PSL, where she teaches fluid mechanics to second-year engineering students. She joined the institution in 2009 and conducts research within the CNRS-endorsed Gulliver Laboratory (UMR 7083). Her work bridges microfluidics with biological and materials science applications, collaborating with biologists, chemists, and soft matter theorists.

Her primary research focuses on two areas:

• Microfluidic production of blood platelets
• Fabrication and characterization of polymer capsules

This research builds on her PhD thesis on wetting dynamics of superhydrophobic surfaces and postdoctoral work at Harvard University on capillary phenomena.
