Mathilde Mougeot

Mathilde Mougeot is a Professor of Data Science at ENSIIE (École nationale supérieure d'informatique pour l'industrie et l'entreprise) and an affiliated Professor at ENS Paris-Saclay. She holds the Industrial Data Analytics & Machine Learning (IdAML) chair at the Centre Borelli, a research unit affiliated with Université Paris-Saclay, CNRS, ENS Paris-Saclay, Université de Paris, and SSA.

Her research focuses on machine learning, specifically developing predictive models for monitoring, diagnosis, and decision support across various application contexts. Key areas include model aggregation (combining different predictive models in rapidly evolving data environments) and transfer learning (applying knowledge from one domain to another where data is sparse). She also works on hybrid models that incorporate physical science knowledge with machine learning approaches.

Mougeot maintains strong industry connections, collaborating with companies like Tarkett (on fall detection models for elderly care), CEA, and Michelin. She has held leadership positions including Deputy Director of the Fondation Mathématiques Jacques Hadamard and Assistant Director of Université Paris-Saclay's Graduate School of Mathematics since 2019.
