Mathieu O'NEIL is a Professor of Communication at the University of Canberra’s Faculty of Arts and Design and an Honorary Associate Professor of Sociology at the Australian National University. His work bridges political communication, sociology, and computational social science. He co-founded the Virtual Observatory for the Study of Online Networks and leads the Digital Commons Policy Council, advocating for sustainable digital infrastructure policies.
