Dr. Mathieu Lemaire is an Assistant Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto, cross-appointed to the Department of Biochemistry and the Institute of Medical Sciences. He is a Staff Physician in the Division of Nephrology at The Hospital for Sick Children and a Scientist-Track Investigator in the Cell Biology Department at the SickKids Research Institute.

His lab at the PGCRL building (19th floor) investigates conditions like atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome (aHUS) caused by DGKE deficiency. Courses taught include The Biochemistry of Translational Medicine and Medical Biochemistry. Current lab members include MSc student Lisa Richardson and Research Project Coordinator Dr. Jing Wu.
