Mathias Winterhalter

Mathias Winterhalter is a Professor of Biophysics at Constructor University Bremen (formerly Jacobs University) in Germany. He is currently a Fellow-in-Residence at CYAS (CY Advanced Studies), invited by the LAMBE laboratory. His research focuses on the transport of small molecules across biological membranes, particularly in Gram-negative bacteria, and the development of hybrid sensors using solid-state chips functionalized with membrane channels.
