Massimo Valoti is an Associate Professor at the Department of Life Sciences, University of Siena, where he coordinates the PhD course in Life Sciences. His research focuses on xenobiotic toxicity, cytochrome P450 metabolism, and transporter interactions in hepatic and extrahepatic tissues.
His recent work explores cytochrome P450 regulation in neurodegenerative disease models, HDAC targeting for retinal disease therapies, perivascular adipose tissue effects on vascular tone, immunoliposome-based neuroblastoma treatments, and GPR55 agonist development. These studies span toxicology, pharmacology, and molecular biology.
