María Stella Redón Calvillo

Dr. María Stella Redón Calvillo is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the Biology Zoology discipline. She teaches undergraduate courses in both the Biology and Pharmacy degree programs at the Mallorca campus. Her teaching responsibilities include Parasitology, Microbiological and Parasitological Analysis, Parasitology and Fauna of Sanitary Impact, and Resources for Biodiversity Assessment.

Her research focuses on parasitology and eco-epidemiology within Mediterranean ecosystems, with specific interests in biodiversity assessment methodologies and microbiological analysis. She is an active member of the consolidated R&D group 'Parasitología y Ecoepidemiología Mediterránea (WEPA)', specializing in systematic analysis and observation of parasitological phenomena.
