Her research focuses on prehistoric human activity and cultural evolution, particularly in the context of the Middle Stone Age. Recent work examines archaeological evidence from the Eastern Sahara, Sudan, including sites EDAR 134 and 155, dated to 90,000 years ago (MIS 5).
