Maryna Bilokur

Maryna Bilokur is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the College of Science, The Australian National University (ANU). Her research focuses on advanced materials for solar energy systems, plasma processing, and fusion applications. She holds a PhD in Physics and Materials Science and has conducted extensive work on spectrally selective solar absorbers, nanoparticle engineering, and material characterization techniques.

Her expertise includes PVD techniques (e.g., magnetron sputtering), optical measurements (Ellipsometry, Spectroscopy), and advanced microscopy (SEM, TEM). She has contributed to projects such as the 'Hybrid Hydrogen direct and plasma reduction of iron ore' and 'High Pressure Inductively Coupled Plasma Technology,' addressing renewable metal refining and energy systems.

Research interests span high-temperature concentrated solar thermal power, microfluidics, and plasma-aided material synthesis. She collaborates on initiatives like the Renewable Metal Refining program and contributes to ANU's Solar Photovoltaics and Fusion Power research clusters.
