Mary Trask

Mary Trask is a full-time adjunct professor in the Education Department at Capital University's School of Education. She has extensive teaching experience across preschool, adult learning, private/public institutions, and online education, specializing in reading and language development for both intervention and gifted students. Since 2015, she has trained preservice teachers at Capital University and supported students in critical reading/writing at Columbus State Community College's Developmental Education division since 2011.

• Education: Master of Arts in Education (Regent University), Bachelor of Arts in Education (Wittenberg University)

Her research interests focus on literacy instruction, including phonics (EDUC 241), content literacy (EDUC 374), and online writing pedagogy (EDUC 310). She also provides specialized tutoring for teacher licensure exams like the Reading and Writing Praxis Exams and Ohio Assessment for Educators Foundations of Reading Exam.
