Mary Templeton

Mary Templeton is an Associate Professor of Accounting Instruction at Hope College's Department of Economics and Business since 2017. She combines academic teaching with over a decade of industry experience in regional and international accounting firms like Korte & Kowatch, BDO USA, and Deloitte.

Her expertise includes financial accounting, taxation, and accounting information systems, with direct experience in IRS audits, tax compliance, and multistate corporate tax filings. She teaches Intermediate Accounting, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Accounting Information Systems courses.

Mary holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license since 2008 and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
