Mary Phillips

Mary Phillips is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Information Management at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She joined the university in 2020 after teaching for 12 years at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Phillips holds a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from MTSU. She is a licensed CPA (Inactive) in Tennessee and has prior experience in both public and corporate accounting roles.

Her academic background combines advanced studies in accounting and business administration, complemented by practical experience in the accounting field. Phillips is located in Room 614 of the Haslam Business Building and can be contacted via mphill78@utk.edu.
