Mary Miller serves as Director of the Getty Research Institute and was previously a Sterling Professor at Yale University, where she held leadership roles including Dean of Yale College from 2008 to 2014.
Her research centers on ancient Mexico and the Maya civilization, with deep expertise in Mesoamerican art history and archaeology.
