Mary Long is a Lecturer in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's Haslam College of Business. She also serves as CEO of Abgility, a supply chain organization, and as a board advisor to the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN).
- Education: M.B.A. in Operations & Logistics Management from Ohio State University (1992); B.A. in Quantitative Business Analysis from Cleveland State University (1988).
Research Focus: Her expertise centers on advancing digital supply chain agility, strategic supply chain management, and customer-driven organizational transformation. She has co-authored two white papers and developed specialized supply chain courses for the Department of Homeland Security.
Scientific Awards: Recognized in 2019 as a leader in life sciences supply chains by the Bio Supply Management Alliance's Who’s Who Women in Life Sciences.
Leadership & Advisory Roles: Former chair of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) board of directors, editorial board member for Supply Chain Quarterly and Journal of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Procurement, and faculty advisor to the women-focused student organization NeXxus.
