Mary Elkins

Mary Elkins serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Art and Graphic Design department at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, where she teaches studio courses and maintains an active artistic practice.

Her academic credentials include:

• M.F.A. in Craft/Material Studies - Ceramics from Virginia Commonwealth University (2011)
• B.F.A. in Ceramics and German from the University of Arkansas (2008)

Her creative research centers on memory, motherhood, and family through sculptural works primarily in fiber and clay.
