Mary E. Mitchell

Mary E. Mitchell is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Chowan University. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of North Texas, an M.A. in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child & Adolescent Development from Oklahoma State University.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on educational psychology, developmental psychology, and behavioral analysis, particularly in understanding early predictors of bullying and victimization in children through longitudinal studies involving parent, teacher, and student reports.

Publications: Her notable research explores intersections of child development, school psychology, and behavioral analysis, with a specific emphasis on longitudinal assessments of social dynamics in educational settings.
