Mary C. English is a Professor and Chair of Classics and General Humanities at Montclair State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a PhD from Boston University and specializes in Greek drama, its reinterpretation by contemporary American playwrights, and Latin pedagogy. Her academic contributions include co-authoring A New Latin Primer (Oxford UP, 2015) and editing The Spirit of Aristophanes (Edinburgh UP, 2024).
