Marvin Rosen is a full-time faculty member at Westminster Conservatory of Music, Rider University. He teaches piano performance and music history for the Young Artist Program, and musical styles for the Piano Pedagogy Certification Program. His educational background includes master's degrees in Musicology from Manhattan School of Music and Teachers’ College, Columbia University, and a doctorate in Music Education from Teachers’ College, Columbia University.
Research interests center on classical piano performance, music education pedagogy, American music analysis, and musicological studies. His expertise extends to radio programming, where he hosts shows dedicated to classical and avant-garde music, and he has authored liner notes for prominent music labels.

Dr. Rosen maintains an active profile in music dissemination through his acclaimed radio program "Classical Discoveries" on WPRB and has released commercial recordings of Alan Hovhaness's piano works.
