Marvin Hunt

Marvin Hunt is a Teaching Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of English at North Carolina State University. His expertise centers on English Renaissance literature, particularly Shakespeare, and he is associated with the New Variorum Hamlet project. He holds a Ph.D. in Renaissance Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

His research contributions include Looking for Hamlet (2007), which garnered a starred Kirkus review and commercial success, and Among the Children of the Sun: Travels in the Family Islands of the Bahamas (2012). Hunt also specializes in creative nonfiction, with travel writing published in major outlets like The New York Times and The Washington Post.
