Martyn Dean Cooke

Martyn Dean Cooke is a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at Manchester Metropolitan University (Cheshire Campus). In addition to his teaching role, he is a part-time PhD student researching the origins and early development of association football in North Staffordshire and a member of the International Sport and Leisure History Research Team (SpLeisH). He also works as a Youth Support Worker at Cheshire East Council, a freelance sports journalist, and a volunteer at the Donna Louise Hospice.
