Martina Rüping

Prof. Martina Rüping is a renowned soprano and Honorary Professor of Singing at the Rostock University of Music and Drama. She combines traditional vocal techniques with the Lichtenberger Method, emphasizing individual voice development. Her teaching has earned her the Carte Blanche Prize in 2018.

Research Interests: Specializes in Baroque and classical repertoire (Handel, Mozart, Richard Strauss), opera roles (e.g., Zerbinetta, Queen of the Night), and Lied singing. Integrates stage performance physiology and vocal pedagogy into her teaching.
