Martina Lohmeier is a Professor of Mobility Management and Cycling at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. She is a member of the Mobility Management research group and a founding member of the Rhein-Main Institute for Transformative Sciences in Mobility and Logistics (RITMO) since 2023/24.
- Teaches in B.ENG. and M.ENG. programs, including courses on urban road design, traffic engineering, and bicycle traffic management.
- Research focuses on sustainability assessment of transport infrastructures, climate-resilient transport systems, mobility behavior, and gender/diversity aspects in public street design.
- Completed projects include automated condition assessment of cycle paths and promoting cycling among adolescent girls. Current work addresses subjective safety in urban mobility and S-Pedelec infrastructure design.
