Martin Zdanowicz is a Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences, Keck Graduate Institute (KGI). He previously served as Dean of the KGI School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (since 2019) and assumed leadership of the Riggs School in 2020. His academic career includes roles as Associate Dean at the University of Miami (2019), Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences at MCPHS University (2000s), and Chair at South University School of Pharmacy.

Research focuses on pharmacogenomics, drug addiction, and educational innovation. He authored four textbooks and numerous peer-reviewed articles. Awards include six Pharmacy Teacher of the Year titles and the 2015 Teacher of the Year award.
Prior to academia, he worked 12 years as a research scientist in endocrinology/metabolism at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell Medical College.
