About
Martin Savransky is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he earned his PhD in 2014. His research spans pragmatism, ecology, decolonial studies, and speculative methodologies. He is the author of *Around the Day in Eighty Worlds: Politics of the Pluriverse* (2021) and *The Adventure of Relevance: An Ethics of Social Inquiry* (2016). Savransky co-edited the monograph *After Progress* (2022), exploring post-progressive futures, and curated the digital exhibition *After Progress: Collaborative Storytelling* (2022). His work interrogates modernity’s 'progress' narrative, advocating for ecological uncivilisation and plural value-ecologies. He has edited journals like *SubStance* and *Theory, Culture & Society*, and contributed to interdisciplinary projects on speculative research and decolonial imagination. His recent articles address geophilosophy, anarchist pragmatism, and the aesthetics of the outside.
