About
Martin Rowntree is a Lecturer in Paramedic Science and Out-of-Hospital Care at the University of Sunderland. A registered paramedic since 2008, he teaches law and ethics on the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science and Out of Hospital Care course and participates in skills days. He joined the university in 2021 after prior experience as an academic tutor.
His research interests align with his dual expertise in paramedic practice and healthcare ethics. He also engages in teaching-focused activities related to medical law and clinical skill development.
