Dr. Martin Regan is a Senior Lecturer (Education) at the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice (ICCJ) within Queen's University Belfast's School of Law. He currently serves as Director of Internationalisation (since 2024), previously held roles including Director of Undergraduate Education (2021–2024), and led the LLB Programme (2020–2021). His teaching focuses on European Union Law, Criminal Liability, and Law and Psychology. Research interests span the intersection of legal concepts and psychology, criminalisation justifications, censorship law, and pedagogical strategies like problem-based learning (PBL).
