Martin Meedom Nielsen

Martin Meedom Nielsen is a Professor in X-ray Science at the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Physics). He founded and leads the section for Neutrons and X-rays for Material Physics and serves as vice chair of the European XFEL Council.

Research Focus:

• Charge and energy transfer processes in molecular systems
• Time-resolved x-ray spectroscopy and scattering
• Coupling of electronic processes to atomic-nuclear dynamics
• Development of combined methods and instrumentation for neutron/x-ray science
