Martin Luther Chan is an Assistant Professor of Hebrew & Jewish Studies and Director of Jewish Studies at the University of Kentucky. He specializes in Semitic languages, Hebrew-Arabic comparative linguistics, and pedagogy. His teaching includes Biblical Hebrew, Modern Standard Arabic, and courses on the Hebrew Bible. He holds a Ph.D. from UCLA (2019) and has been affiliated with departments such as Hebrew and Jewish Studies, Arabic & Islamic Studies, and Modern & Classical Languages, Literatures & Cultures.
