Martin K. Munoz

Martin K. Munoz serves as a Professor in the Mental and Behavioral Health program within the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions at Regis University. With over 25 years of teaching experience and more than 30 years as a practicing psychotherapist, he holds licenses as a Professional Counselor and Addictions Counselor in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

His clinical expertise focuses on depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders across adult populations, with dedicated specialization in culturally responsive care for people of color. Dr. Munoz integrates social justice advocacy into mental health practice, emphasizing community-based interventions to address systemic disparities and promote equitable access to behavioral health services.
