Martin Hairer is a Professor of Pure Mathematics at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Imperial College London. His research focuses on stochastic analysis, stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs), regularity structures, probability theory, mathematical physics, and ergodic theory.
He has developed several lecture notes on topics such as Malliavin calculus, regularity structures, rough paths, and the convergence of Markov processes, which were taught at Warwick, Courant Institute, Imperial College, and other institutions. He also develops audio software, including Amadeus Pro and SoundMagic Spectral, a suite of spectral processing Audio Unit plugins.
