Martin Grossmann

Martin Grossmann is a Lecturer at the Lucerne School of Business (HSLU W) within the Institute of Business and Regional Economics. He has held academic roles including Senior Researcher at the University of Zurich's Institute for Strategy and Business Economics, and visiting scholar positions at the National University of Singapore, University of Oxford, and Northwestern University. His research focuses on contest theory, sports economics, and financial mathematics. Grossmann earned a Habilitation in Management and Economics (2018) and a PhD from the University of Zurich (2007), with advanced training in econometrics from the Swiss National Bank's Study Center.

Grossmann frequently presents at international conferences, including the Econometric Society and Western Economic Association meetings.

External roles include serving as an expert for vocational examinations in the Canton of Lucerne.
