Martin Fañanas Mastral

Martin Fañanas Mastral is a Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Department of Organic Chemistry and the Research Center in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials (CIQUS). He leads the CatOrg (GI-1603) research group, specializing in Organometallic Catalysis.

Education

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, University of Oviedo (2007). Thesis: Reactivity of Fischer carbene complexes against nitrogenated dienic systems, sulfinyl carbanions and sequential processes [n 2] / alkyne insertion or ch insertion, supervised by Dr. José Barluenga Mur and Dr. Fernando Aznar Gómez.
