Dr. Martin Coath serves as an Associate Lecturer within the Doctoral College at the University of Plymouth, alongside roles as a Senior Researcher at the University of Lapland’s Arctic Centre and an Academic Adviser for education projects at Canterbury Christ Church University. With prior experience across multiple institutions including the Universities of Essex, Nottingham, and Reading, his career spans research, teaching, and academic advising.
His research interests evolved from computational neuroscience—focusing on neural models of auditory systems—to climate change, educational research, and public engagement.
