Dr. Martin Brigham is a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor) in Management and Organization at Lancaster University Management School since 2000. He holds a BSc (Hons), MA, PhD, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). His research focuses on technological innovation, reflective leadership, action science, corporate sustainability, and Quaker business practices. He leads the International Masters Program for Managers (IMPM), a globally recognized executive development program ranked #1 in International Management by Eduniversal North America for seven consecutive years.
Dr. Brigham's pedagogical innovations in organizational behavior, corporate responsibility, and ethics have been ranked in the world's top 10 by the Financial Times. His work bridges academic theory and practical business applications, emphasizing engaged scholarship. He has directed two research centers and contributed over 50 publications. Key projects include studies on sustainability accounting, Quaker business history, and organizational learning. He is affiliated with Lancaster University's Pentland Centre for Sustainability and Centre for Technological Futures.
His awards include SFHEA and FRSA, reflecting his contributions to education and arts. He supervises PhDs in reflective management education, action science, meeting practices, and corporate sustainability.
