Martin Bridson

Professor Martin Bridson is the President of the Clay Mathematics Institute and holds the Whitehead Professorship of Pure Mathematics at the University of Oxford's Mathematical Institute. His research spans geometric group theory, non-positively curved spaces, and low-dimensional topology, with significant contributions to understanding group presentations, profinite completions, and hyperbolic geometry.
