Martin Bobak

Professor Martin Bobak leads epidemiological research on population health determinants at University College London, with cross-disciplinary focus on societal, environmental, socioeconomic and biological factors influencing chronic diseases. He directs a multicentre prospective cohort study across Central and Eastern Europe examining cardiovascular diseases, mental health, and aging.

Research interests include:

• Cardiovascular disease patterns across populations
• Social and environmental health determinants
• Interplay between psychosocial factors and chronic conditions
• Health inequalities across socioeconomic strata

Extensive teaching experience spans undergraduate, MSc and PhD levels, with focus on epidemiological methods and population health analysis. International collaborations address disease prevention strategies across diverse populations.
