Martijn Felder

Martijn Felder is an Assistant Professor at the Health Care Governance (HCG) department within the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He holds a PhD from the same institution, focusing on policy experimentation in Dutch healthcare governance. His research interests span healthcare professionalization, particularly nursing work differentiation, evidence-based decision-making, and the interplay between politics and practice in layered healthcare systems. He employs qualitative methods like ethnography and historical case studies.

Key research projects include studying nurse differentiation in Dutch hospitals, which seeks to strengthen nurses' roles while addressing systemic challenges.
