Marte Rinck de Boer

Marte Rinck de Boer is a Professor at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences, where she serves as a faculty member in the Master of International Hospitality and Service Management program and co-coordinates the research programme. She previously held the role of NHL Stenden Confidential Counsellor for Research Integrity until January 2024 and is currently a member of the editorial advisory board for the Journal Research in Hospitality Management.

Her research focuses on educational innovation, constructivist critical pedagogy, and the application of anthropological and sociological frameworks to understand ideological and utopian thinking in education. She explores student experiences in constructivist education and the role of anthropology in learning. Her work integrates literature, art, and qualitative research methods to foster pedagogical innovation in hospitality education.

Marte Rinck de Boer holds a master’s degree (cum laude) in German Studies from the University of Groningen and a PhD from the University of Humanistic Studies in Utrecht.
