Marte Mangset is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sociology and Human Geography, University of Oslo. She holds a PhD from Sciences Po in Paris and the University of Bergen. Her research focuses on the relationship between knowledge and power, examining how different types of knowledge confer authority in various contexts. She conducts comparative studies across Norway, France, and the UK, with ongoing projects about government operations (POLITEX) and tax policy expertise (TAXLAW).
Her primary research interests include:
